DEPARTURES

 Noise abatement procedures are in effect for departures on Runway 25.
As soon as practical after takeoff on Runway 25, turn right 20 degrees
and maintain that heading to 600' before making any turns.

NO NIGHT OPERATIONS

Numerous non-radio aircraft operating from this airport. Absence of self-announce
transmissions on CTAF Frequency 122.9 DOES NOT indicate a lack of aircraft operating
to and from Sonoma Valley Airport. Please clear the area thoroughly before rolling
on any runway for departure.

Runway 17/35 is posted with Rs at each end and requires prior permission (briefing on runway specs) from airport management before use. Once you have received permission from airport management, you may use runway 17/35 at your discretion.
ALERT!
Freshwater trout pond near southwest corner of the airport nearby threshold of Runway 35 is a bird and wildlife attractant and can affect approach and departure from both runways 17-35 and 07-25. Pilots should ensure runways are clear of birds before takeoff and landing.

CAUTION!
Aircraft flown by pilots lacking position and situation awareness
may be crossing at near right angles to the downwind leg for Runway 25/7
at approx. 800' to 1000' agl while headed northbound on an extended
45 degree entry to the downwind leg for nearby
"Sonoma Skypark" Airport.
