Sonoma Valley Airport Display
Days
Assorted vintage
& veteran aircraft on display.
EVERY WEEKEND
MARCH 1, 2025 THROUGH OCTOBER 31, 2025

A
Unique Display Day Destination
Sonoma Valley Airport (SVA), also known as
Schellville, is a designated
Display Day airport for Aircraft
of Historical Significance — always weather
permitting.
What
Does This Mean?
Owners of vintage aircraft (35 years or older) are
required to display their planes 12
times per year to qualify for an exemption
from Sonoma County's annual 1%
aircraft tax. As part of this, SVA welcomes pilots to
fly in and display their aircraft for public viewing.
Unpredictable
Yet Exciting Displays
The airport does not have advance notice of which
aircraft will arrive on any given weekend — it could be none, one, or
ten. This spontaneous element makes each visit to SVA unique and
exciting for aviation enthusiasts.
Historic
Aircraft & Museum Collection
Many notable vintage aircraft, including those
belonging to the North
Bay Air Museum, are hangared at SVA, adding to its rich
aviation heritage.
Open
to the Public
SVA is a privately
owned, public-use airport that invites
visitors to explore the grounds and view aircraft on display. For your
safety, please check in at Vintage
Aircraft for a briefing on airport rules
and guidelines before exploring.
